I think the scariest movie I every watched is toss between The Birds and Psycho. The spookiest story I love to watch is the miniseries The Stand, I have watched it many times and never get tired of it LOL Thank you for the fun and the awesome giveaway opportunity.

My favorite is Nightmare on Elm Street, the original not that bad remake. The though of someone coming to get you in your dreams in scary. Plus that song is spooky and creepy. Thanks for the giveaway.

My favorite movie of all time is A Nightmare on Elm Street! Freddy still haunts my nightmares. To me he was the ultimate evil guy, because hey who is to say that it can’t happen??? Someone could get into your dreams and stalk/kill you *shivers* ughhh nightmares here I come tonight 🙂

Favorite halloween movie is a tie between the Omen (both 1 & 2) and Friday the 13th. I couldn’t understand how a man on foot wearing boots could catch people riding a motorcycle.

Scariest: Nightmare on Elm street. Freddy was a scary and mean dude!

*I haven’t read Showalter either, but she is on my “authors to be read” list

I would have to say that IT was the spookiest movie, didn’t like clowns much after that and really hated spiders. Also the first Nightmare on Elm Street, that one was really scary.

    Thanks for the giveaway!!

Nightmare on Elm Street scared the bejeesus out of me when I saw it at the drive-in theater way back when it first came out. Was that 1984 or 1985? 1984, I believe…

  7. Judith says:

I don’t really have a favorite but Nightmare on Elm Street always comes back to me. I saw it when I was 8, maybe. (Oh dad, why didn’t you turn off the TV?) I have this thing about scary movies where I have to see how to kill the evil guy, so I can’t stop watching movies once they start. I was afraid of sleeping for a very long time after that one.

    Thanks for the giveaway!
