Ready for another contest? Here it comes… I have nine books by Lynsay Sands. I’ve read two in her series and they are quite good. Different and unique. Books in this contest include:
- A quick Bie
- Love Bites
- Vampire Interrupted
- Bite Me If You Can
- Single White Vampire
- The Accidental Vampire
- The Rogue Hunter
- The Renegade Hunter
- The Immortal Hunter
These are extras I picked up. I can’t pass on a book for $1.00 or less. It’s a bad habit of mine. I know. Anyway…
Deadline to leave a comment is
September 22, 2011 @ 5pm EST
To enter the contest: Tell me what kind of paranormal romance/urban fantasy books do you prefer – vampire, demons, werewolves, or a mixture? And why?
I am SO into Angels. Fallen Angels to be more precise. Down & Dirty. The hope of redemption is the draw.

wow you have great books on your hand me i love to read all i been reading the shape shifters and then i read the wolfs and then vamps they are all good book and they can not be told and then they are all are good me i would read any and all and then blog on amazon and then on good reads twitter and face book
I read a lot of books in this genre and I find if I am reading too much of any one, I want to move on. I like to mix it up and enjoy all the sups having a place in the story. I would like to see a book that had the vamps, shifters, and angels in the mix – that is one I have not heard of yet 🙂 Thanks for the fun and for you generous giveaway opportunity.

Your should read Kerrelyn Sparks series. Vampire Mine has Vampires, Angels and Shifters.
Amy, Vampire Mine is my favorite in that series. I absolutely LOVE it! The angel is so funny! And Conner… what a match for him.
I love all kinds of paranormals. Vampires will probably always be my favorites but I also love shifters and lately have been loving demons (Larissa Ione’s Demonica series).
@Denise Z: Kerrelyn Sparks has a book called VAMPIRE MINE. The main characters are a vamp and an angel, but there are shifters in her series too (secondary characters in that book). These are humourous PNR much like Lynsay Sands writing style. Larissa Ione’s has demons, fallen angels, vampires, shifters, ….in her series.

So, I used to be into Vampires exclusively. I think reading the Anita Blake series and other paranormal romance books have changed that. I’ve broadened… Now, I love all paranormals: vamps, weres, shifters, witches, angels, demons, fairies, and even zombies–thanks to Bella Street and The Z Word. I really didn’t think you could make zombies + romance work. YOU CAN! So, honestly, I really do love them all 🙂

What kind of paranormal romance/urban fantasy books do I enjoy? I especially like it when there are at least two kinds of ‘critters’ – be it vampire, elf, were, fairy, witch, etc. It seems that the more different kinds there are, the more tension it creates and simply adds to the story. But, on occasion I find a book/series which only has one type that is sill very good.
I like reading a mixture. It kind of depends what I am in the mood for. I like vampires, shifters, fae, witches, or whatever. I am always willing to give something new a try. The Anita Blake and the Hollows series are the two that I started with and then I just went on a hunt from there to see what else I liked. Currently I am enjoying Butcher’s Sentinel series which are different.

I love a mixture in my PNR/UF stories. Helps to keep things interesting with the different rules and personalities.
I know what you mean Mary about not being able to pass up a good book on sale. I have the same problem… we should probably start a help group:)

You comment about not being able to pass up a good book sale reminded me of a group on Goodreads (if you aren’t familiar – you might want to check it out) called Book Buying Addicts Anonymous. You aren’t alone:)

I like a mixture of vampires, demons, werewolves. I love them all so I guess it would be what I was in the mood for at the moment. Also I have to agree with Rebecca. I like the bad boy type and most vampires, demons, ect. seem to fit that description. Lol
I would LOVE to win this!

I like a lot of kinds: vampires, shifters, witches, demons, ghosts, etc. It just depends on the mix. I haven’t read any good angel or zombie books, so they’re not one of them.
I’d love to win this! I’ve read at least the first 5 books.

Mixture really but mostly weres, demons, witches and different species out there. Sometimes it depends on the mixture too. Oh I remember Sands she is awesome. The books that I read always had me giggling

I like a mixture of paranormal species.
I haven’t read any of Lynsay Sands books yet, but she’s on my list and I can’t wait to start.
Shapeshifters are my favorite, but I really like when novels have a nice mix of paranormal creatures.
